pkg has been intentionnally decoupled as much as possible from the ports tr=
ee,
so that a repository is not aware the ports tree, because pkg is used elsew=
here
than freebsd.

That said, I think we can provide some kind of hints which could be populat=
ed
by the package building system. I added this idea to the TODO list
