Hi ! A collegue of mine and I have problems with expect scripts that login remotely on a cisco router or catalyst and do some data collecting tasks for statistics. Especially when the devices have many interfaces the expect script times out often. We say this on a DEC ALPHA system and doing it with expect from the FreeBSD ports collection (running on 2.2.7). I heard this would be a known problem with expect. Hmm, folks, is this a known problem or is there a workaround ?
