Hi Meike,

I suppose you could log the IP in the ISDN-UP script. You would have to 
write a small shell/perl script, which you run from ISDN-UP, that:

1. Runs "ifconfig isp0" and places the output in a temp file
2. Grabs the value after inet in the tempfile (which is the ip number which 
your provider gives you),
3. adds this IP number to a textfile somewhere on your machine This 
textfile is the log you want.

This should not be too much work at all.
