I am try to set up hit counter on our web page.  As of yet I unable to
get it  work.  I am assuming that this will be the case with all my cgi
code unless I can figure out while Perl is not being activate.

I know the counter is working.  If I try 'perl [name_of_code]' it will
run and it will increment the counter storage file.

If insert the fallowing line into the html code it will not work:

<! -- #exec cgi="/bin-cgi/counter.cgi"-->

Nothing happens.

Please tell me what I am during wrong.
