I've been getting a few messages like this from a kernel built tonite vm_fault: pager input (probably hardware) error, PID 28996 failure Mar 7 22:27:22 mantar /kernel: pid 28996 (in.cfingerd), uid 32767: exited on signal 11 spec_getpages: I/O read failure: (code=0) vm_fault: pager input (probably hardware) error, PID 29047 failure Mar 7 22:28:29 mantar /kernel: pid 29047 (make), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) I'm doing a make -j -k world in the backround on a dual pentium machine confiured for smp. never seen this before.
