Hi, My question is: Is the mount union mentioned in MOUNT(8) also affected by the slippery wet= =20 floor in MOUNT_UNION(8)?? Or can I safely use the mount with the option union? Tia Jim MOUNT(8) Theres an option of mount union, "union Causes the namespace at the mount point to appear as the union of=20 the mounted filesystem root and the existing directory. Lookups will be=20 done in the mounted filesys=AD tem first. If those operations fail due to a= =20 non-exis=AD tent file the underlying directory is then accessed. All creates= =20 are done in the mounted filesystem. " Ok, good enough, then I lookup MOUNT_UNION(8) and there I see the BUG notice about the DOG and SLIPPERY WET FLOOR,...
