431@green.homeunix.org> <20040517214100.GB53735@lizzy.catnook.com> In-Reply-To: <20040517214100.GB53735@lizzy.catnook.com> Fyi: I have narrowed this problem down somewhat. Kernels with ACPI won't boot as far back as Jan 1st; other than the first panic I reported I mostly see panics in ahc_pause_and_flushwork and in one case I saw the ahc driver spamming the console during boot with messages that interrupts may not be working. Without ACPI, kernels up until April 3 (date=2004.04.03.00.00.00) work, April 4 (date=2004.04.04.00.00.00) hang hard. I'm staying with an April 3rd kernel for now. This machine already has the latest BIOS available. -- Jos Backus _/ _/_/_/ Sunnyvale, CA _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ jos at catnook.com _/_/ _/_/_/ require 'std/disclaimer'
