While this may not be directly on topic, it is definately relevant. I would much rather see people who develop for FreeBSD continue developing software that make it a great server. I'm not sure if the lack of interest is because of certain things that were said by Netscape corp (I hope not!) about their commitment to Linux, or because other people feel the same way I do. I run BSD boxes as servers and enjoy uptime measured in months and years. Features are being added all the time which contribute to its exceptional application as a server OS. You are right, Netscape had a BSD version, but I know it was sooo bad that I ran the Linux version under the emulator and was way better (they also offered native domestic security version for Linux). Linux should not be pitted against FreeBSD as they both have their advantages and disadvantages and if we can run the apps we want why waste time on pointless religious battles?
