    Thanks to all who wrote about the DLINK-DFE570TX. I had no idea quad
port NICs were so cheap.
    How does one configure these things? Do you just set all the ports to
the same IP address, or is it more complicated than that?
    I read an article a while back about tuning Samba. In this article they
made a reference to "binding" one of the CPUs in an SMP machine to the NIC.
Is this possible under FreeBSD (4.1)? Can someone point me at a URL which
tells how to do it? So far my searches haven't turned up anything useful.
