Hmm, Ok, but there is some information on the
minimum contents of a problem report somewhere
in the docs. (Don't ask me where, didn't need
it for quite some time :)

Doesn't look like Cache/RAM or BIOS problem.

} (note no ep0 - learned that as soon as new ep driver was placed into current)
} machine "i386"
} cpu "I386_CPU"
} cpu "I486_CPU"

Hmmm, there is NO

cpu	"I586_CPU"

line. Does you current kernel contain it ???

} ident PUGA
} maxusers	24
} config kernel	root on sd0

} options SYSVSEM
} options SYSVMSG
} options UCONSOLE
} options SCSIDEBUG
} options SCSI_REPORT_GEOMETRY
} controller	isa0
} options	"AUTO_EOI_2"

This doesn't work with all chip sets, so I'd
not try it unless the system worked without,
first ...

} options BOUNCE_BUFFERS

Not needed unless you got a bus-master ISA
controller (Adaptec 1542 or ISA Buslogic).

} device sio0	at isa? port "IO_COM3" tty irq 5 vector siointr
} controller	pci0
} controller	ahc1

Ok. You didn't tell about your hardware,
but I assume the SCSI card is detected and
all drives are identified ...

} device vx0
} options PROBE_VERBOSE

The PROBE_VERBOSE is a NOP, since this
functionality is now handled by the -v
boot option ...

} options COMPAT_LINUX

Ok. Please tri with I586_CPU and let me
know what you find ...
