I seriously doubt that has anything to do with it. Do people associate
Linux with saunas? Windows with espresso?

But that has nothing to do with my image of FreeBSD. Berkeley is much
more than Telegraph Avenue, assigned areas for free speech, and
perpetual students. I also envision one of the finest graduate schools
in the world, home of Lawrence-Livermore labs, and the guys that brought
us BSD. And it's also home to the finest Sake brewery outside of Japan.

My first experience with BSD was at UCSD! I was learning UCSD Pascal at
the time. Oh gee, I'm dating myself again...
