Hello! I've tried to install 3.0-RELEASE on HP's 486SX. I've compiled (on much better machine) kernel with math emulator turned on, and tried to run. Many programs (fsck, w, top, squid) exits on signal 8 or 10, and sometimes kernel panics. In past two years I've installed FreeBSD on about a dozen computers, but never experienced such behavior. OTOH, I don't remember myself installing anything on system w/o coprocessor. What should I investigate? Alex. -- Alexander B.
