According to rpi-eeprom-update under RaspiOS, my Pi4 has the latest product=
ion (=3D "critical") firmware:
tingo@silent-pi4:~ $ sudo rpi-eeprom-update
BCM2711 detected
VL805 firmware in bootloader EEPROM
BOOTLOADER: up-to-date
CURRENT: Thu 03 Sep 2020 12:11:43 PM UTC (1599135103)
 LATEST: Thu 03 Sep 2020 12:11:43 PM UTC (1599135103)
 FW DIR: /lib/firmware/raspberrypi/bootloader/default
VL805: up-to-date
CURRENT: 000138a1
 LATEST: 000138a1

Do I need something newer than that (from STABLE or BETA)? Looking at the r=
elease notes, they talk about USB MSD, not anything about usb devices like =
keyboards and mice.

Will that give me a working local (ie. usb) keyboard?
