The following reply was made to PR bin/118207; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Wayne Sierke <ws@au.dyndns.ws> To: Yuri <yuri@tsoft.com> Cc: freebsd-gnats-submit@freebsd.org Subject: Re: misc/118207: burncd gives I/O error writing CD on Pioneer DVDR-112D/1.21 Date: Sat, 09 Feb 2008 03:33:51 +1030 > burncd recommended in handbook doesn't work with ATAPI Pioneer DVR-112D/1.21. > I get I/O error every time I try to write CD. I've not had a good success rate with burncd (prior to this Pioneer it was with a LiteOn CD-RW drive). I'll risk producing a few more coasters if there are updates to try, preferably with burncd reporting success with the -t option first. Similarly as with Yuri, cdrecord succeeded. This is with a recent (~ 1 week) RELENG_7.
