At the _VERY_ least people need to be warned about this loudly. Unless = you can show this really helps non-NIS users this is IMO a bad idea. Yes, if you hand merge all /etc files this won't be a problem... but I = don't since life's to short for that, so this change just broke login on = one of the FreeBSD.org during an upgrade. --=20 Simon L.
