Subject: Frequency settings for a Compaq MV500 Monitor anyone?

I'm wondering if anyone has the frequency settings for a Compaq MV500
monitor. The documentation says it can do 75hz at 800x600 and 60hz at
1024x768 at 16bpp. In case you don't know the frequency settngs, would you
know settings for 800x600 at 75hz with an ATI Rage LT Pro chip?

I think I read once in the Complete FreeBSD book how to do the calculations
for the modelines and stuff, but I can't seem to find my book. :( Maybe I
can dind that information online somewhere?

Usually, when I setup X all I do is plug in the numbers given in the monitor
manual and hope that XF86Setup does everything correctly, but the manual to
this monitor sucks!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Joey
