Actually, it is really a min(72, whenever_someone_gets_around_to_it) grace period. The average is many years. I'm still waiting for removal of Attics created by the July 13 ports reorganization. I remember this because it added 1MB of junk that filled up my cvs partition. BTW, `tunefs -p' bogusly requires write access. Bruce
