Let me guess, you're working on the garbage collector for some language.
Which one?
Here's an example from Boehm's GC,
void GC_write_fault_handler(sig, code, scp, addr)
int sig, code;
struct sigcontext *scp;
char *addr;
where addr is the faulting virtual address.
