You are attempting to use Nvidia-driver-1.0.8178 with a Geforce 2 MX card; it ain't gonna work. That driver is for cards several years newer. You need N-driver-7184 or so for "legacy" video crds; it expects FreeBSD 5.3 or later and linux capability modules. Good luck.
