You want more like 100MB. > Remember that any usage of swap space saves RAM. If swap is being conserved, then RAM is being used. I think that the FreeBSD policy of using more swap is more effective than trying to conserve it at the expense of RAM. What that means though is that one must be liberal with swap space allocations. In FreeBSD-current we have tightened things up a little bit more, but still the policy stands.
