Hi,
I just tried to install a 5.2.1 on several remote servers for testing
perpose and came across this error with some server models.
While booting the harddisk isn't found properly but the drive is
detected when issuing a 'atacontrol reinit' command after the system has
finished booting.
test26# atacontrol list
ATA channel 0:
Master: no device present
Slave: no device present
ATA channel 1:
Master: no device present
Slave: no device present
test26# atacontrol reinit 0
Master: ad0 <ST380011A/3.54> ATA/ATAPI rev 6
Slave: no device present
I already tried the usual ACPI disable but without success...
