At first, an critical error came up, OO "saves" all open documents and quits. A new start is impossible after that, the 2nd message pops up. OpenOffice is build without mozilla, with native jdk-1.1.4 and german language pack. I've seen in build-log that sometimes -O2 is used, which results in crashes in some other ports. If you work on it, I'll wait for your patch. Otherwise I would spend some time to find the locations an patch out to use system CFLAGS. Or if you have another idea, I would be glad to test it out.
