This should never happen. I'm curious as to how you even got this message :) Do you have permissions to /dev/drm/* and /dev/dri/*? (video group) Do you have the latest libdrm and mesa installed? Try running with MESA_DEBUG=1 LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose to see more debug info, but you're probably already getting 'MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information', right?
