I've rolled my own release, placed base.txz, kernel.txz and MANIFEST onto my ftp server. The stock install CD complains about the checksum for base.txz because it uses the MANIFEST from the ISO and ignores the one at the FTP site. Is there some way I can override this? I couldn't see anything in the bsdinstall manpage. I'd rather not have to spend the time generating boot media, it's quicker to go into Shell mode and manually install the OS. Thanks -- lee
