I'm currently burning in a dual 1Ghz/2GIG RAM box using supermicro 370DLE It was a bitch to setup (heatsinks wouldn't 
fit, IO shield wouldn't fit properly, socket locking levers were to high for heatsinks to sit on top) but now that it is it looks 
stable. I suggest getting bare-bone system with preinstalled mobo and perhaps CPUs.
