I was wondering if any of the 802.11a PCI cards such as the one from Inetl or D-Link worked with FreeBSD in any form? I was also wondering if anyone had one of thease cards? Does the antenna come off? I want to hook up an external antenna to one and try a long distance point to point link. I noiced that in the picture on Intel's web site, the PCI card actually had a cable going from the back of the card to the antenna (looks very hackable). Thanks in advance for the help.
