The SB0200 is not supported on FreeBSD as of me writing this email. SB0200 is a sound blaster live 5.1! 24bit OEM sound card, which was specifically designed for Dell computer systems. Although my research indicated it was one of the 24bit cards, I cannot confirm this. I can confirm that it will not work with snd_emu10kx or the snd_emu10k1 The chipset is a emu10k1x. I could not locate any windows drivers, and according to the net the only source for the windows drivers is from a Dell installation CD. The installation CD could be a Dell Demsion 4550, as Dell provides an update driver patch for the SB0200 on that system. Again this email is ment to give a move to update the FreeBSD manual to reflect the fact that SB0200 is unsupported. Below is the dmesg on my system: Copyright (c) 1992-2010 The FreeBSD Project.
