You should have provided more information, like whether you're using the X Window System or not or which "threshlod and acc" you're referring to (somethink in a KDE or GNOME tool?). Read about the "-m" option of "xset" in its man page for X11. I think it's standard (but there are alternatives?) to run "moused" for the non-X11 console and the man page for that discusses threshold and acceleration.
