It starts similar here: (T30, model 2366 with (maybe, kinda unreadable -N6G) ata1-slave: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY no interrupt ata1-slave: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY no interrupt acd0: CDRW <UJDA730 DVD/CDRW> at ata1-master UDMA33 cd0 at ata1 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 cd0: <MATSHITA UJDA730 DVD/CDRW 1.04> Removable CD-ROM SCSI-0 device cd0: 33.000MB/s transfers cd0: Attempt to query device size failed: NOT READY, Medium not present - tray closed Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s2a but I have no 'Memory modified' problems. I use ACPI, and hw.ata.atapi_dma="1" in /boot/loader.conf on a custom 5.2-CURRENT kernel as of Sun May 30. Suspend/resume works (except backlight) but (re)starting X locks up the system. I hope it helps someone. -- Hans
