I am finishing my MCSE but want to get started on learning UNIX and this was recommended as the best way to do this by a MCSE friend who also runs UNIX servers. For learning purposes I am intending to use an old Thshiba Satellite with Active Matrix screen. I am wondering if this is supported? If it is do I need additional software? Toshiba has not been helpful in the past in answering these kinds of questions but I will try them also.
