   In all fairness, though, the Windows TCP/IP wizards will warn you to turn
   off file/printer sharing over the TCP/IP connection.  Some people just
   choose to learn the hard way... ;-)

I consider it a misfeature myself.  Samba doesn't support netbios,
and I'm sure the machine with the modem will do an adaqute job
blocking incoming connections in my case...
