Failed on building on 5.16 until I added this to the Makefile:
BUILD_DEPENDS+= p5-ExtUtils-MakeMaker>=6.65:${PORTSDIR}/devel/p5-ExtUtils-MakeMaker
And yes, I should be on 5.18 or 5.20, but one step at a time. :)
