--BOKacYhQ+x31HxR3 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline There are quite a few ports that set PREFIX==${X11BASE} instead of USE_X_PREFIX because they don't want to gain the dependency on XFree86-4-libraries that would come from setting USE_X_PREFIX (e.g. all the new freedesktop.org ports). However, this means that they are installed with the wrong MTREE_FILE, so BSD.local.dist is applied to /usr/X11R6 and you end up with a whole bunch of wrong directories created there. I think we should either make USE_X_PREFIX not imply USE_XLIB and go through and add it explicitly to all the ports that use it (1513), or add a WITHOUT_XLIB that avoids the dependency.
