Rik,

Do you have the 'wi' device in your kernel config file?

A pciconf -l -v tells me

wi0@pci0:18:0:  class=0x028000 card=0x41001385 chip=0x41001385 rev=0x02
hdr=0x00
    vendor   = 'Netgear'
    device   = '802.11b Wireless Adapter (MA301)'
    class    = network

I put the following in my kernel config file... I don't know if all the
lines are required but the card works.

    # Wireless stuff
    device  wi
    options WLCACHE # enables the signal-strength cache
    options WLDEBUG # enables verbose debugging output

    #
    # PCCARD/PCMCIA
    #
    # card: pccard slots
    # pcic: isa/pccard bridge
    device          pcic0 at isa?
    device          pcic1 at isa?
    device          card

Cheers
Gavin
