I'm pretty sure atp already does this.
There is support for in-driver scrolling gesture recognition after all.
The code has functions named like `match_strokes_against_fingers` and so on.
In fact, IIUC it would not be possible to have *a* driver (that would track
even just one finger and work as a simple mouse) without interpreting the
sensor data to track fingers.
