Hi, I have a question regarding the rights to access the PPI 'geek' interface. As far as i know, you need to be root to access this device. Is there any way for a non-priveladged user to access this besides setting the user id on the binary? The reason is because I need to communicate with an application owned by a non-priveladged user, and write that information to the parallel port. I can't set the user id, because then I can't access the application since it isn't owned by me. Please help, Thank you for your time, Jai --------------------------------------------- This message was sent using Endymion MailMan. http://www.endymion.com/products/mailman/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
