When playing x11amp under -current (10 days old) I hear often the sound get stuck accompanied with a <<buzz>>. This was not the case with the old dsp code (6 months old) on a 500 MHz PIII. I see kernel messages in /var/log/messages like: pcm0: hwptr went backwards 64 -> 3936 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2112 -> 2016 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2112 -> 2016 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 3136 -> 3072 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2496 -> 2336 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 3296 -> 3200 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 64 -> 4064 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 128 -> 3968 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 64 -> 4064 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2112 -> 1984 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2112 -> 1984 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2208 -> 2144 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2560 -> 2400 pcm0: hwptr went backwards 2272 -> 2176 -- Chris Christoph P.
