If the rofug.ro patchset does not provide patches already I suggest that you look at: http://www.csl.sony.co.jp/person/kjc/kjc/software/altq-new-design.txt "4 How to convert the existing drivers" is a list of very simple "search for FOO and replace it with BAR" examples. It usually boils down to searching for "if_snd" and picking the right replacement from the list. Reading the whole thing is of course suggested ... For FreeBSD 5.x you have to take the locking into account. Look at Pyun's em patches, there is an example for that and there are more in the rofug.ro patchset.
