I saw some ess updates go past on a cvsup of a new -stable machine at work, so cvsuped my laptop too in the hope that some of this was fixed. Vain hope, in fact it's gotten even more broken. I can't get clean sound out of my laptop at all now :/ it's distorted and crackled playing with xmms (which used to work) and the mixer levels change briefly during a resume to un-mute the microphone to give me nasty feedback noise :/ *sigh* P. -- pir pir@pir.net pir@net.tufts.edu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
