Hardware problems aside; the only difficulty I encountered was : install's new -C option is used before install is build and, er, installed. Due to the aforementioned hardware problems, however it's likely that the updated rpcgen was built and installed, so I suspect that it's still an issue here as well (unless someone can refute that). I had a slightly more recently supped build expire with : ===> usr.sbin/xntpd/parse cc -O -m486 -pipe -I/remote1/2.2.0-CURRENT/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/parse/../include -DCLOCK_SCHMID -DCLOCK_DCF7000 -DCLOCK_MEINBERG -DCLOCK_RAWDCF -DCLOCK_TRIMSV6 -DSYS_FREEBSD -DSYS_44BSD -DREFCLOCK -DPARSE -DMD5 -DLOCAL_CLOCK -DPST -DWWVB -DAS2201 -DGOES -DGPSTM -DOMEGA -DLEITCH -DTRAK -DACTS -DATOM -DDATUM -DHEATH -DMSFEES -DMX4200 -DNMEA -DBOEDER -c /remote1/2.2.0-CURRENT/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/parse/parse.c -o parse.o /remote1/2.2.0-CURRENT/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/parse/parse.c: In function `parse_to_unixtime': /remote1/2.2.0-CURRENT/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/parse/parse.c:654: called object is not a function /remote1/2.2.0-CURRENT/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/parse/parse.c:662: called object is not a function ...but this is not necessarily a problem. -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] "Who does BSD?"
