Check your kernel config and include cpu "I686_CPU" (valid for Pentium Pro, P2 and probably celerons). You could comment out the other cpu options, but this isn't 100% necessary. They don't do any harm, but they *might* have an impact on performance and probably bloat the kernel a bit.
