Hmm, tosha doesn't work? Did it print any error messages? Perhaps it doesn't know much about your CD-R? Did it work before CAM? As for cdrecord, I'm working with Joerg Schilling on getting the CAM patches into the main distribution. Try this binary, and let me know whether it works: ftp://ftp.kdm.org/pub/FreeBSD/cam/test/cdrecord-1.6.1a3.test The -scanbus option is known to be non-functional with the verison of the CAM patches for cdrecord that you've got.
