I just installed FreeBSD 4.3 on a machine that had been running 3.4. I have been getting this message repeatedly: <date> getty[<pid>]: login_tty /dev/console : Operation not supported After a few those, there is another message saying that getty is going to sleep for 30 seconds. When that time lapses, the screen again fills with the messages. Because of the messages, I can't really get a look at the system. I've no clue why this problem exists.
