Last I heard it didn't even run in 3.0.  Something to do with IPC
via pipes being broken under emulation.  Incidentally, Sybase has
an apparently similar problem with the backup server.  The data
servers communicate via shared memory which works fine, but the
backup server forks an I/O daemon which communicates with a pipe.
That link fails.
