Hi..

I'm running
# uname -a
FreeBSD laptop.seet.dk 5.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE #4: Tue Jan 21
01:02:07 CET 2003 root@laptop.seet.dk:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/NEWLAPTOP
  i386

and I always get this during boot, regardless if a card has been
inserted to the one pcmciaslot
  # dmesg |grep cbb
cbb0: <RF5C475 PCI-CardBus Bridge> irq 10 at device 5.0 on pci1
cardbus0: <CardBus bus> on cbb0
pccard0: <16-bit PCCard bus> on cbb0
cbb0: Unsupported card type detected

Can I from this add up that I won't be able to use that pcmcia slot in
freebsd, regardless if its a 16bit card or not ?
I havnt been able to find any sollutions in the handbook, google or
anything.....

Atm. if I try to stick in a 16bit netgear MA401 it freezes, and if I
boot with it in, theres no diffrence..no wi0 or anthing in dmesg

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I really hope to get this MA401
up and running

kind regards

ps: sorry for any double posts
