To whom it may concern,

I recently purchased the FreeBSD Power Pack 4.2
from Staples in Bedford NH. When I tried to install
the system, I found, much to my dismay, that the
installation CD was missing critical files needed
to install the kernel. When viewing the CD contents
and comparing them with the table on page 27 & 28
of the manual, I found that the View.exe file and
the Setup.exe along with the Install.exe files were
missing from the CD. There were numerous other files
missing from the CD that the table showed.

I returned the software to the store and when they
looked at another box, they found the same problem.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I had
spent all that time and effort and never got off the
ground. (Thank goodness the Patriots won the Super Bowl
that night).

I am at this point completely disillusioned with FreeBSD.
I hope that someone takes the time to look into the possibility
that other stores may have been delivered the same packages.
