Hello
I have been running my FreeBSD box (HP laptop omnibook 800CT) with the 4.3
version without any problems for over 2 years now. I decided it was about
time to upgrade to the latest version.
Unfortunately, when booting from my new upgraded system it systematically
crashes. I then tried to boot from the set of floppies from either 4.5 or
4.4 version it always crash as soon as I select "Start Installation".
However, booting with the old 4.3 set of floppies works just fine. So
something wrong has been introduced in the 4.4 version

When looking at the kernel configuration from the floppies, IRQ 12 is the PC
Card controller. I tried to disable everything and to change this IRQ
without any luck, I always get the same message.
What should I do? any help will be highly appreciated I'm quite stuck for
the moment
