edit www/mod_php4/Makefile, and change
LIB_DEPENDS+= mysqlclient.10:${PORTSDIR}/databases/mysql323-client
to
LIB_DEPENDS+= mysqlclient.12:${PORTSDIR}/databases/mysql40-client
