If you don\t keep your binaries on an MFS, you perhaps may go as low as 2MB, if your application very tightly controls its memory consumption. If you can have 4MB, you can actually run quite a number of things.. among them of course all of TCP/IP - FreeBSD will always contain IP support, unlike QNX where you have to buy it separately.
