I don't know about running through an Annex, but it works fine 
FreeBSD<->FreeBSD.  I have a 2x customer and a 3x customer very happy.

Yes, it does, but NT 4.0 has problems running with mpd.  Microsoft sent 
one of my NT multilink customers a patch and the patch broke PPP 
completely.  They are now running on single channel CSLIP :-)
